Sometimes protecting a child starts with someone willing to speak up.

If you have information about misconduct, institutional failures, unsafe practices, or other concerns involving systems entrusted with children, you can share it with Broken Trust below.

YOUR PRIVACY MATTERS

Broken Trust will not voluntarily share your identity, contact information, documents, or other identifying information with another individual, organization, agency, media outlet, or governmental entity without your express permission, except when disclosure is required by law.

You may choose to submit information without providing your name or contact information. If you do provide identifying information, it will be used to review your submission and, if you have permitted it, to contact you for additional information.

Broken Trust may use de-identified or aggregated information to identify patterns, conduct research, inform public policy, or discuss systemic issues, provided the information is presented in a manner that does not identify you or other private individuals.

Please remember: Submitting information to Broken Trust is not a substitute for reporting suspected abuse, neglect, or criminal activity to law enforcement, child protective services, or another appropriate authority when a report is required or a child may be in danger.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or contact the appropriate law enforcement agency immediately.

Broken Trust is not a law enforcement agency, child protective services agency, or emergency reporting service. Submitting information to Broken Trust does not constitute an official report to law enforcement, child protective services, a school, or another governmental agency, and it does not replace any report required by law.

Broken Trust may review information submitted through this page to identify potential patterns or systemic concerns and determine whether an issue warrants further examination. Submission of information does not guarantee that Broken Trust will investigate or take action regarding a particular matter.

If you believe abuse, neglect, or a crime has occurred, please report it directly to the appropriate authorities.

THANK YOU FOR SPEAKING UP

Protecting children is only possible when people pay attention, ask questions, and speak when something doesn't seem right.

Thank you for taking the time to share what you know and for helping protect children.
